Mood

All events that happen to a character, affect their mood. A high mood gives motivation and makes you work, and gives you more hours per month. A low mood, on the contrary, demotivates and slows down and takes work hours per month.

A low mood can lead to burnout that doesn't go away on its own and needs to be treated (at blue cells).

What happened to the mood

Increases mood:

  • Pleasant purchases on orange cells
  • Rest
  • Family
  • Education
  • Starting and developing a business
  • Purchase and improvement of real estate
  • New acquaintances
  • New job and promotion
  • Promotion, or quitting a job
  • Selling something for 20% more than buying
  • Making a dream come true

Decreases mood:

  • Bad Events
  • Crisis
  • Refusal to spend money on orange cells
  • Refusal to rest
  • Troubles in business and real estate
  • Inability to help friends
  • Demotion and dismissal
  • Bankruptcy

Mood not affected by

  • Declining offers on blue cells
  • Lack of time by the end of the month
  • Age
  • Purchases of stock market shares
  • Deposits in the bank and loan repayments

If nothing happened to the character for a month, then the mood will return to normal:

  • If it was bad, the mood rises to normal
  • If it was elevated, it goes back to normal

Watch your mood and do not put too much pressure on your character.

Burnout

Even with the most devastating event, your character cannot fall below the level of "On edge (0)". But if another negative event occurs in the "On edge (0)" state, then the character becomes burned out.

Burnout takes time and doesn't go away on its own. Being burned out, it is impossible to study, relax, and make new acquaintances. Burnout makes finding new assets harder.

To deal with burnout, you need to treat it on a blue cell. Treatment takes time.

Several burnouts lead to depression, which is especially hard to treat and takes a long time.

It is much easier to maintain a good mood, pamper yourself and relax when necessary, than to deal with the effects of burnout.

Stress

Your character's mood falls during negative events. How low it falls depends on your stress.

  • When stress is low, the mood falls not much.
  • When stress is high, the mood declines faster.
  • With low stress and no events, the mood gets better.
  • With severe stress and no events, the mood goes to normal.

Reduces stress:

  • Lower difficulty levels
  • Family
  • Making a dream come true
  • TM-skill "Rest"
  • Sport, pool, yoga
  • Pets
  • Socializing
  • Personal therapist
  • Hobby
  • Hiring Business managers
  • Other rare events
  • Bad habits

Increases stress:

  • Work, business, real estate (the more responsible, the greater the stress)
  • Higher difficulty levels
